The course also covers the legal and ethical responsibilities of employers and employees in relation to workplace health and safety (WHS), and the communication and documentation requirements for reporting incidents and hazards related to workplace stress to promote a safe, healthy and supportive work environment and reduce the risk of stress-related illness and injury.
Upon completing this course you will be equipped to manage personal stressors effectively, improving your ability to handle workplace challenges while maintaining your mental and physical well-being.
Assessment Requirements
Practical scenarios:
- Manage two (2) workplace stress situations:
- Colleague work performance
- Upset family member
- Complete the tasks in line with Federal/State/Territory regulations, codes of practice and work health and safety (WHS/OHS) guidelines and workplace or site procedures.
To complete the practical assessment, you will require the resources and equipment to complete the practical tasks following clear instructions and assessment guidelines. Typically you would video yourself using your smart phone (or be recorded by a second person) undertaking the two (2) simulated scenario practical assessment tasks and upload the two (2) videos. Videos must be of good quality and clearly demonstrate the tasks being undertaken. A qualified assessor will view the video recordings against the benchmark criteria and mark the uploaded practical assessment videos. All assessment criteria must be met to achieve competency.

Theory assessment: A written exam consisting of multiple-choice and short answer questions must be completed. You must answer all questions.
